1. What attributes must I have to be a Keyed Up Music teacher?

To be a Keyed Up Music teacher one must have the following attributes;

  • Work well with children both individually and in groups
  • Be self motivated and reliable
  • Punctual and well groomed 
  • Have (or are completing) bachelor or an advanced diploma of music teaching/performance qualifications or equivalent music teaching experience
  • Hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Hold a drivers licence

2. Where do the students come from?

Most of our students are from the particular Primary school where the lessons are taking place.

3. Why should I register as a teacher with Keyed Up Music?

  • Keyed Up Music finds students for you.
  • Keyed up Music can find you work as an instrumental/classroom music teacher in Primary schools near your home.
  • Guaranteed award rates. We pay our teachers between $35- $45 per hour + super (depending on qualifications and experience) for instrumental teaching. A fully qualified and VIT/TRBWA registered teacher could expect to earn around $380.00 per day for standard classroom teaching. (Normal teaching wage).
